This website, minutemetalbuildings.com, is operated by Alberto Hernandez ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you request a quote. Our quote form asks for your name, phone number, and ZIP code, and optionally your email address, how you prefer to be contacted, installation address, timeline, and any notes you want to add. If you used the building estimator, we also save the configuration you built and the estimated price it produced. With each request we also save the page you sent it from and your browser's user-agent string, which identifies the browser and type of device you used.

When you call or text us. Our phone number is a tracked business line. When you call, we record the number you called from, the time, and the length of the call. Voicemails are recorded and transcribed. When you text, we receive your number and the content of your message.

Automatically. Our hosting provider records the page a request came from and basic technical information about the request, as part of normal web server operation and to protect the site from abuse.

Why we collect it

To respond to you. That's the whole reason. We use your contact information to answer your question, prepare a quote, and arrange installation if you decide to go ahead. We use the building configuration so we know what you asked about without making you explain it twice.

We do not send marketing emails or promotional texts. We do not add you to a mailing list.

Who we share it with

The installer. Quote requests are passed to Scorpion Metal Buildings LLC, the company that builds and installs the buildings, so they can prepare your quote and schedule the work.

Service providers. We use third-party services to run the site: Cloudflare for hosting and data storage, Resend for sending us email notifications, and Twilio for our phone number. These providers process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

When required by law. If we are legally compelled to disclose information, we will.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Text messages

Our business phone number can receive text messages. If you text us, we may reply by text.

We only send texts in reply to messages you send us. We do not send promotional or marketing texts, and we do not text people who have not contacted us first.

To stop receiving texts from us, reply STOP. For help, reply HELP. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies and depends on how much back-and-forth your question requires.

Your phone number and the content of your messages are not shared with anyone for marketing purposes.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use advertising cookies, analytics scripts, or third-party trackers on this site. Our hosting provider may set essential cookies required for security and to keep the site working.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and the associated contact information for as long as needed to respond to you and complete any work that results, and afterward as a business record. Call logs and message logs are retained by our phone provider according to their standard retention.

If you want your information deleted, email [email protected] and we will remove it, except where we are required to keep a record.

Security

Information you submit is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored with our hosting provider. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not store payment information of any kind on this site, and we never ask for it.

Payments

We do not process payments on this website. If you go ahead with a building, the installer invoices you directly. Any payment information you provide goes to them and to their payment processor, not to us.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
